· British Partner must have earn more than £18,600 per year or have enough savings to be able to sponsor you. The minimum financial requirement is higher if they are also sponsoring dependent children. The non-British partner is not allowed work during the 6 month validity period the visa is granted for.

· You must be able to demonstrate that you are involved in a genuine relationship and intend to marry in the UK within the 6 month validity period. You have to have met face to face.

Failing to marry within the 6 month validity period of the visa may result in you being an over stayer and liable to removal.
